PRO14: Teams up for Cheetahs v Ulster

Dan McFarland has rotated the team for the trip to Bloemfontein to face the Cheetahs.

John Cooney misses out after sustaining a head injury while Angus Kernohan and Eric O’Sullivan will make their first starts in an Ulster jersey.

Rob Herring continues as captain in the front row alongside O’Sullivan and Wiehahn Herbst who has returned from injury. Alan O’Connor and Kieran Treadwell are named in the second row while Marcell Coetzee shifts to No.8. Sean Reidy starts on the openside while Matthew Rea will make his first start of the season at blindside flanker.

As mentioned there is no John Cooney with Dave Shanahan taking his place at scrum half. Billy Burns continues at 10 but there is a reshuffle in the outside backs. Henry Speight moves to outside centre with Angus Kernohan named on the left wing after making a try scoring impact from the bench last week. Craig Gilroy continues on the right wing with Will Addison returning to fullback after missing the Southern Kings match due to illness.
