Celtic Cup: Ulster A win on the road!

Ulster A picked up their first win in this competition with a hard fought 3 – 7 victory at Cardiff Arms Park against Cardiff Blues A on Saturday afternoon.

Ulster’s points came from an Aaron Sexton try, converted by Michael Lowry in difficult playing conditions!

With Munster A and Leinster A smashing all before them it’s still going to be an uphill task for Ulster A to maintain any interest in this competition once the pool stages are complete.

It’s not impossible for Ulster to complete the series with another three wins, Ospreys A away being their hardest remaining fixture, but it would take a serious implosion from Munster and Leinster for Ulster to get anywhere near the top of their conference.
