Ireland U18 Women Sevens looking for another Successful Home Nations

Ireland U18 Women Sevens will be targeting another clean sweep when they compete in the second leg of the Home Nations Tournament in Birmingham this weekend.

The Ireland team were all conquering in the first leg in Edinburgh on the 7th – 8th of July with Day 1 wins against England, Scotland and Wales followed by Day 2 wins against Wales and England in the Semifinal and Final.

The squad for the second leg in Birmingham sees three changes from the squad in Edinburgh with Ulster’s coming into the squad together with Meadbh Scally and Saoirse O’Reilly.

Katie Hetherington makes her first appearance for Ireland Sevens with the Clogher Valley delighted to tell our reporter;

The round robin kicks off on Saturday 21st at 10am at the University of Birmingham Sports Grounds with the knockout stages taking place on Sunday morning at the same venue.

The Front Row Union will be providing live updates throughout the two days.
