City of Armagh II entertained Rainey Old Boys II in the Towns Cup on Saturday afternoon at a cold by sunny Palace Grounds.
The home side came out on top by 47 – 17 with Kyle Faloon scoring a hat-trick with Paul, O’Hagan, Misi Bogotini and Crummie also crossing. Boyd converted five and Cousins converted one.
Rainey had opened the scoring with an unconverted try immediately after kick off but the visitors had no answer as the Armagh ran in five in reply to take the half time score to 35 – 5.
After a half time roasting, a fired up Rainey ran in two further scores but Armagh had the last word as Faloon crossed for his hat-trick to be followed by a deserved try by Evin Crummie. Cousins added the extras for Armagh to take the final score to City of Armagh II 47 Rainey Old Boys II 17.
