Campbell College Belfast entertained Canada Rugby U19’s at Foxes Field yesterday afternoon with the schools side coming out on top by 23 – 19 in a well contested game.
Campbell took the lead through two tries, one converted, before Canada hit their stride with a converted try of thier own to take the score to 12 – 7.
The visitors pulled ahead for the first time with their second converted try giving them a two point lead before the home team regained the lead with thier third try to take the score to 17 – 14.
Canada again went in front 17 – 19, with an unconverted try, as the game approached it’s final stages; but two late penalties secured the win for the Belfast boys.
Final score: Campbell College Belfast 23 Rugby canada U19’s 19.
