Wallace High maintained their push for top spot in the Front Row Union Ulster Schools Rugby Rankings with a 5 – 26 win away to Omagh Academy on dank and damp Saturday morning in Omagh.

Wallace opened up a fourteen point lead at half time thanks to tries from left wing Jamie McNeight and centre Sam Cardosi, both converted by Nathan Doak.

Omagh replied early in the second half with a period of pressure in the Wallace 22 leading to a try from prop Glen McKinley to take the score to 5 – 14.

However a second half brace for Wallace’s, impressive full back, Jamie Peters settled the game in the visitors favour. Doak added a third conversion to give a final score of Omagh Academy 5 Wallace High School 26.
