Schools: Coleraine Grammar 20 Enniskillen Royal 19

Coleraine Grammar School entertained Enniskillen Royal Grammar School on Saturday morning, at Castlerock Road, with Coleraine coming out on top 20 – 19 in a close fought contest.

A penalty by Pierce Crowie was the difference between the two sides as both teams scored three tries each.

Coleraine’s tries came from Oscar Egan, Mark Lamont and Max Baillie with Baillie adding a conversion to Crowie’s penalty.

Enniskillen replied through Alex Parke, Christopher Balfour and Reece Smyton with Sympton converting.

The current Ulster Schools Rugby Rankings has Coleraine Grammar in 21st place with to Enniskillen Royal in 9th. It’s a big win for Coleraine which should see them move up the Rankings this week.
