City of Armagh completed an impressive double with their seconds beating Ballymoney 7 – 17 to give the club their second pre Christmas trip to a Ravenhill Final, their firsts having qualified for the Senior Cup Final last weekend.

It was a closely contest match at Kilraughts Road with a last minute penalty pushing the game decisively in Armagh’s favour, the bulk of the second half played out with only a score between the sides.

Armagh’s scores came from a McKever try and four penalties from Boyd. Ballymoney replying through a first half try from Irwin, converted by Cleland.

In the other semi final Ballynahinch II went one better than their firsts last week with a 15 – 14 win against Malone II at Ballymacarn Park.

The Junior Cup final takes place at 17:30 on Thursday 21st December at Ravenhill.
