Round 3 of the Ulster Schools Rugby Cup took place across Ulster on Saturday morning with nine new teams joining those who qualified by virtue of their results in Round 2, the most recent of these qualifiers being Dromore HS who defeated Banbridge Academy 14 – 12 in their midweek replay. The results panned out as follows:

Unfortunately for Dromore they came up against a strong Enniskillen Royal who pulled away in the second half to record a convincing win.
Friends School Lisburn and Coleraine Grammar will have to fight it out again with the replay scheduled for Wednesday 25th January, kick-off 2:30 pm. Rainey and Regent will also meet on Wednesday 25th, their game being postponed due to frost . . .
