PRO12: Teams up for Ulster v Dragons

by

It’s here at last, the start of another season of thrills, spills and excitement on the happy train with Ulster Rugby. Let’s all hope that our huge expectations are met this season.  🙄

None of our main Irish internationals have been released yet, but it’s still a strong looking team.

Charles Piutau, Brett Herron and Ross Kane, who gets promoted from the academy, will make their competitive debuts, as should Robert Lyttle who is on the bench following his impressive run out against Northampton last week.

I’m particularly pleased by the starting front five, and their replacements on the bench, so the pack should provide enough of a platform to provide the sparkling back line with plenty of ball. However the forwards can’t take anything for granted as it’s an honest enough looking Dragons team who will be looking to claim a “big scalp” at the start of the season.
