Women: Queen’s v Cooke clash highlight of the weekend!

There can be no doubt that the highlight of the women’s game in Ulster this weekend is the AIL fixture between Queen’s and Cooke on Sunday at The Dub. Kick off 13:00.

Queen’s and Cooke were fairly evenly matched last season, as they both pushed for promotion into the senior league, but now they have got there it appears that Cooke have made the best adjustment to topflight women’s rugby.

To say the student’s have struggled this season would be an understatement, played two, lost two and 137 points conceded is a poor comparison to Cooke’s first outing last week, but with availability issues for the last two weeks the students should not be underestimated for this one if they have a full  panel to select from.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the team lists are unavailable so I’m not going to give a prediction. However I . . .
