Civil Service Rugby Club Notes

by

The Colts hosted their first school side of the season at Stormont on Saturday, when Grosvenor GS Medallion side paid a visit and put on an excellent display of entertaining running rugby.

This was billed as a friendly and gave Service an opportunity to up their game against stronger opposition in preparation of this Saturdays League Cup game away to Instonians, at Shaws Bridge.

The event proved very useful to both sets of players and our thanks are extended to Grosvenor GS for coming to Stormont and we wish them every success when they play Larne in the Medallion Bowl semi-final on Tuesday.

The only other Service team in action last Saturday was the 2nd XV who travelled to Shaws Bridge where they defeated Cooke 3rd XV 32 – 13 in a friendly.
