Schools: Rugby Rankings Week 10

The irregularity of schedules over Christmas and New Year usually throws up a significant number of changes in the table, and this seaason is no exception:

Methodist College are now the only unbeaten Ulster-school side (that is, against other opponents from Ulster) having defeated RS Armagh during the holidays, and Armagh side who, in turn, defeated the impressive ‘over-achievers’ from Limavady GS. Methody still sit at the summit as you would imagine, with Armagh in 2nd and Limavady in 4th.

Having had a fairly nondescript start to the season, Campbell have now pushed their way into 3rd place, setting off the alarm bells of déjà-vu for those foolish enough to have ignored them as serious contenders (see last season for the precedent). Wallace HS (5th) have also been climbing steadily while Ballyclare HS, Ballymena Academy and RBAI continue to occupy the lower rungs of the upper ladder in 6th, 7th and 8th place respectively.
