PREDICTIONS – CUP, ROUND 2
It’s the start of January and the Schools’ Cup is back in action as Round 2 games kick-off (weather permitting) this weekend. Of course that means that the FRU Predictions League is back, forcing us to make those difficult decisions between logic and gut-instinct as well as head versus heart. In order to (hopefully) help, I’ll be providing my own predictions along with my reasons for my choices. Feel free to argue for/against in the comments and don’t forget to enter your own predictions before the deadline!
Belfast HS v Larne GS
Both of these teams will have been relatively glad to have drawn one another as other opponents would have offered a much harder task. Until recently, this would have been considered a walk-over for Belfast HS, especially when taking into account their 35-0 victory against Larne GS . . .
