Women’s AIL: Week 8 Preview.

Five of the six Ulster ladies sides in the All Ireland League are in action this weekend.

Cooke Ladies have had a difficult season to date in AIL1 and as we approach the winter break for Cup and International matches the Belfast side find themselves in Divison 1B for the remainer of the season.

The division of the league gives Cooke a chance to wipe the slate clean, regroup and look to recover some form for the cup matches and a good showing at Galwegians tomorrow will set them up to complete the season with a bit of style. May be stretching it here but with a “new start” and good feeling in the camp we’re tipping the Cookies to pull a surprise out of the bag and start this new campaign with a win!

In Division 2 North, Carrick entertain Barnhall in what should be a good match up. The East Antrim side, who have struggled this season . . .
