AIL1B: Round 7 Preview.

It’s a tough weekend for the Ulster sides in AIL1B this week and there will be no repeat of last week’s clean sweep of victories with two of the local sides going head to head in what must be regarded as the fixture of the weekend.

Yep, Ballymena v Ballynahinch at Eaton Park has the potential to be a classic given the recent form of both sides. Ballynahinch sit proudly at the top of the table losing only one game in their six league games so far. Ballymena sit one point behind thanks to a drawn game and the Braidmen have shown outstanding away form with three wins on the road over their six games.

Ballymena haven’t, yet, managed to show the same resiliance at home with only a win and a draw for their efforts and any plans to turn Eaton Park into a impregnable  fortress are going to get the closest examination this Saturday by visitors Ballynahinch.
