All six Ulster ladies sides are back in action this weekend with a couple of rounds in the AIL’s before cup competitions start.
In AIL 1 Cooke Ladies face a tough game against league leaders U.L. Bohemians and the Belfast side will need to build on their recent improving performances if they are going to be competitive in this game.
Quite a few of the team featured in Ulster’s impressive performance in Limerick earlier in the season and with Ireland’s squad selection for the Six Nations imminent it’s a chance for some of the Ulster girls involved with the national side to make a statement. A win for Cooke would certainly make AIL 1 more interesting as unbeaten Boh’s seem to be cruising sedately towards another league title, but I expect the home side will prove just too strong.
