Oh dear! Went for four wins for the Ulster sides but only one team managed to come up trumps in what must be described as a disappointing weekend for the Ulster teams.

Pride of place this week goes to Belfast Harlequins who did rack up a win down in Cork with Neil McComb crossing the line twice to give the Quins a hard fought victory. Scrum half Michael Heaney chipped in with two conversions and three penalties to keep the Belfast side’s noses in front for a 20 – 23 win that keeps them in 6th place.

Ballymena will be disappointed to let their half time lead slip at Eaton Park. A Paul Pritchard try early in the second half  put Ballymena in control, leading 11 -3,but UCD fought back to tie the game with a try in the 80th minute disappointing the home crowd. The two points see Ballymena consolidate their third place.
