It’s Quarter Final weekend in the First Trust Senior Cup and with Hinch, Dungannon and Ballymena all losing players to the Ravens on Friday night some of the contests may not be as clear cut as they could have been.
The big match of the afternoon sees holders Dungannon at home to the quickly improving Ballymena. Ballymena will be missing Burns, Andrews, McIlroy and McKinney with Dungannon without Jackson, Gaston, Cochrane and Nelson. Ali Birch is also out having withdrawn from the Ravens side through injury we believe.
Dungannon will be looking to get their season back on track after two stinging defeats in the AIL and the home side should have enough strength in depth to see off the visitors.
Queens will be without influential second row Iain Henderson in what should be a close game against Instonians at the Dub. The students are flying high in AIL2A and should have enough to see of the visitors.
Banbridge against Armagh will be another close one with only three places separating . . .
