Schools: Rugby Rankings 2011-12. Week 3.

Big changes make an appearance again this week with one result for particular teams making all the difference:

Methodist College (1st) and Ballymena Academy (2nd) still sit atop the table after three weeks in their unchanged positions, but RS Armagh have leapt from 9th to sit just below them in 3rd after a win against the previously unbeaten Portadown College. Incidentally, it is Portadown who now occupy 9th place, moving up from 12th, a win in midweek helping to keep them high in the table despite the defeat to Armagh.

Bangor GS have finally managed their first win of the season and, as such, have seen their fortunes greatly increase, moving ten places from 25th to 15th. Of course their poor early form has had a lot to do with them playing Armagh, Ballymena and the currently unbeaten Limavady GS. Even with their latest weaker opponents, no offence Banbridge Academians, added into the mix, Bangor’s opponent rating is . . .
