Schools: Rugby Rankings 2011-12. Week 2.

This week shows plenty of changes due to the large number of fixtures taking place and proves how volatile the rankings can be at this early stage of the season:

Campbell College are already in contention for the biggest climbers of the season, improving their position this week to 4th from a previous 14th. Of course, this being their first win so far and having only posted three results, expect them to move some more in the incoming weeks. Their latest opponents, RS Dungannon, have also improved from 13th to 11th, despite the defeat, so, considering Dungannon’s high position, perhaps it isn’t a surprise that Campbell should see such a change.

Despite securing wins, many teams have seen a slight fall in their ranking due to teams previously below them making bigger strides towards the top. Limavady GS are one such team, who, despite remaining unbeaten, are down in 10th having previously been 7th. Another unbeaten squad, Portadown . . .

      Yes there will be one for the Schools Cup.
