Neath added to pre-season?

It never ceases to amuse me that the Six Nations can be scheduled for years in advance yet in the Celtic League we still don’t know the match dates for next month and now Ulster have slipped in another pre-season game giving supporters 14 days notice to make arrangements for a trip to South Wales.

I’m sure there are plenty of reasons for the lack of timely information concerning the fixtures but when all is said and done it does just smack of “just don’t care” as far as the supporter is concerned.

Anyway, we’ll see what we can do to get some sort of coverage set up for this one – details to follow.

Ulster Rugby today confirmed that they will play an additional pre-season friendly away to Welsh side Neath on Friday 19th August, at 7.15pm. The game will be played at The Gnoll.

This brings the total number of pre-season games for Ulster to three, with fixtures already confirmed away to Bayonne and rounding off at home to Harlequins on Friday 26th August.

Tickets for the home friendly are now on sale at www.ulsterrugby.com or from the Ticket Office . . .
