Rugby Rankings Week 20

Minor changes to this week’s rankings, but interesting ones as we head towards the final games of the season:

After a last second blocked kick, Campbell College held on against Methody to earn another draw and another replay. While the latter side hold on to their second spot, albeit with a reduced score, Campbell move up into 4th place, their highest position all season.

Of course, Campbell move up at the expense of RS Armagh who now occupy 5th place after a narrow defeat to RBAI in their cup replay at Osborne Park. RBAI stay in 3rd, but close the gap on Methody, and will be hoping claim it in next week rankings which will take into account the second replay between Campbell and Methody as well as Belfast Inst’s semifinal against Coleraine AI.

Elsewhere, a defeat for Foyle & L’Derry College in their Bowl semifinal sees them drop two places into 18th, while Omagh Academy move up one place into 28th after a win against Carrickfergus GS in their Trophy game.
