Rugby Rankings Week 19

With significant competitive games leading to interesting results last weekend, the latest rankings have seen similar characteristic changes:

(NB this table does not yet take into account any replays played after 19th Feb; these will be included in the next set of rankings.)

At the top of the table, Ballymena Academy have slipped down three places due to their involvement in the Shield competition rather than the Cup as they would have expected or hoped. On the other hand, their victors from the previous round of competition, RS Armagh, have moved up into 4th place, partly due to their hard fought draw against RBAI.

Perhaps the greatest surprise of the Cup quarterfinals was the narrow victory of Coleraine AI over the strong opposition of BRA. With this great result, they not only move up three places be find themselves in the top ten for the first time this season.
