Rugby Rankings Week 13

by

Unfortunately, the weather was once again the focus of this week, rather the rugby, and so we must wait until next week to see what bearing the 2nd round Cup matches will have on the rankings; however, four friendly games did go ahead and these have led to a few changes:

Bangor GS have finally managed to win again after a serious dip in form; in fact, at the beginning of the week, the bad run continued as Campbell College delivered a 33-0 to the Bangor side at Fox’s Field, a win which saw the former team move up into 5th for their highest position this season. However, Bangor managed to regroup come Saturday and claimed victory over Foyle & L’Derry College, another team who started well but who have failed in recent weeks.

Ballymena Academy have managed to reclaim 3rd spot this week with a great win over strong opponents and fellow fourth-round entrants, Wallace HS, who move down into 8th. Regent House have also managed to improve their ranking this week, moving from 18 to 16, but only just, as the score against Omagh Academy finished 5-0.
