Ulster have announced the Ravens side for tomorrow’s match against Leinster A:
The Ulster Ravens are also in action this weekend when they face Leinster A at Donnybrook tomorrow (Sat 21st Nov) at 1pm. The side will be captained by hooker Niall Annett
Ulster Ravens: (15-9) Jamie Smith; Chris Cochrane, Jonny Shiels, Luke Marshall, Tommy Seymour; Patrick Jackson, Blane McIlroy. (1-8) Conor Carey, Niall Annett (Captain), Alan Whitten, Ian Henderson, David Huston, Ali Birch, David McGuigan, Ross Hackney. (16-22) Jonny Murphy, Kyle McCall, Tom Patton, Paul Pritchard, Jason Bloomfield, Michael Allen, Conor Gaston.
I think this is the game I’m looking forward to the most over the weekend. Even without Craig Gilroy, who’s in action for the seniors, it is still a fantastically exciting backline with the surprise inclusion of Luke Marshall, Chris Cochrane and Jamie Smith. Quins Michael Allen and Dungannon’s hugely impressive Conor Gaston also offer a real threat from the bench.
Delighted to see Iain Henderson and David McGuigan start with Henderson tearing up a storm for Queens and McGuigan looking back on form after his recent . . .
