Ulster U20’s romp to victory.

Ulster U20’s romped to a comfortable 52 – 7 victory against a Midland Counties side yesterday at Shaws Bridge.

It was a much changed Ulster side from their last outing against Instonians with more of the heroes from the Aviva opener returning for this series of run outs before the Interpro Series in September. A shaven headed Luke Marshall returned in midfield and our Four to Follow, Craig Gilroy, Paddy Jackson, Dave McGuigan and Iain Henderson all put in strong performances over the four 20 minute quarters.

Rumour has it that Marshall will be benching for the senior side in next Saturday’s friendly against Quins.

The warm up series continues with matches against Ballynahinch (18th August, Ballymacarn Park) rounding off against the Irish Exiles in London (22nd August.)
