Enniskillen and Grosvenor girls produced a fast paced, high scoring game in Wednesday’s final at Ravenhill. With both sides cheered on by enthusiastic supporters Enniskillen pulled away in the last quarter to win the game 11 – 7.

Enniskillen started the game well and with some exciting running managed to build up an early lead of three tries to one. However Grosvenor fought back well in the second quarter and with some powerful runs pulled the half time score back to 4 – 3 in favour of Enniskillen.

Grosvenor fought back well at the start of the second half and with fifteen minutes to go the score was  level at 6 – 6. However the County Fermanagh side managed to pull clear in the final quarter scoring a further five tries taking the final score to 11 – 7.

Congratulations to both sets of girls for producing a match played in excellent spirit and well done to the small but highly vocal support from both sides for generating a very noisy atmosphere throughout!
