When and why you started playing rugby?
My sister used to play so I used to watch then thought I’d give it a go and got hooked. (Pun unintended!)
Most memorable match that you have played in and why was it memorable?
Definitely winning the Ulster Cup against Cooke. Was one of my first games and I scored a try! We were never expected to win so that made it even sweeter. We also played them the following year and it went to drop goals I’ll never forget that. I fluffed mine :/ but thankfully Noreen and Clare coped better with the pressure to get us the win.
Least memorable match. Do you have a match that you’d like to forget?
Ulster v Leinster last year in Derry. Need I say much more. Nightmare.
Toughest opponent. Who and why?
Cooke and Highfield, really tough games but learned so much from them.
Longest in the changing room. Who out of all you team mates takes longest getting ready after a game?
Helen Carleton wins that hands down with Caoimhe a close second, any slower and they’d be in reverse! But then again by the time I take to do my hair I could probably be in the running.
