Women: All Ireland League Week 6 Preview

by

,

My goodness, I see I got four out of four in my predictions for this competition last week so let’s see how I can muck it up this time round.

I’ll start, as always, with our featured team, Cooke Women, who, this Sunday, make the two hour trip down to Templeville Road, south Dublin for their match against St Mary’s.

Neither side will be happy with their current league positions and I think, it’d be fair to say, that both teams have underperformed given the playing resources at their disposal. However this match does give both the possibility of getting up to fifth place if other results go their way.

It’ll be an interesting encounter, a team that tends to self destruct against one that plays in fits and starts would indicate a close scrappy game, however if one of the sides can put in an eighty minute performance they could find themselves coming away with a substantial win! Which way will it go? It’s hard to say but my natural Ulster . . .
