Teams have been announced for Saturday’s New Year extravaganza at Ravenhill where Ulster host Munster in the PRO12. Kick off 3:00pm, live on Sky Sports.
There are no changes in the Ulster back line, with the feisty Rory Scholes keeping his spot on the wing, but up front there are four changes as Ulster welcome back Kyle McCall, Rory Best, Lewis Stevenson and Chris Henry.
On paper, amongst our Munster mates and at the bookies, who are giving odds of 3/10, it looks like a comfortable win for Ulster and normally, with it being an Inter Provincial and all that, I would be down playing Ulster’s superiority. However, this is now a well coached team against a poorly coached one and I’ll be very surprised if Ulster don’t win with something to spare.
Having said that, there were some warning signs against Connacht, McCloskey and Williams were very much nullified and the Ulster forwards couldn’t think their way out of getting involved in an arm wrestle up front, and with wind . . .
