Women: Cooke join the party in AIL Week 2.

The Women’s AIL continues this Sunday with both Ulster based sides taking part in Round 2.

Cooke sat out the opening round last weekend and they get their campaign under-way at Shaws Bridge against UL Bohemian on Sunday. Kick off 12:00pm.

It’s the beginning of a new era for Cooke, with  Grace Davitt “officially” at the helm for the first time, but, with experienced players such as Eliza Downey and captain Nikita Armstrong on the pitch, they shouldn’t lack for on-field leadership.

UL Boh’s won their opening round fixture 6 – 3 against Railway Union, with the boot of Niamh Briggs making the difference, and they are expected to bring an experienced side to Belfast on Sunday for what should be an entertaining game and it’ll be the game we’re covering this week.
