Ulster bolstered their slim chances for qualification for the knockout stages of the ERCC with a comfortable bonus point win against Starlets at Ravenhill on Saturday night.

Darren Cave and Ruan Pienaar crossed in the first half with Tommy Bowe and Rory Best securing the bonus point in the second in a match which Ulster dominated from the 14th minute.

Scarlets enjoyed the best of the opening exchanges with Priestland knocking over a third minute penalty to give the visitors a 0 – 3 lead. It looked as though it was going to be a long night as Ian Humphreys uncharastically missed a brace of . . .
