Club: Larne RFC Plan a Spectacular Giro D’Weekend!

One of Ulster’s most scenic rugby clubs plans a spectacular weekend of entertainment centred round the Giro D’Italia.

Giro fever is sweeping Northern Ireland and Larne Rugby Club are determined to become one of the best vantage points for watching the world’s second largest cycle race as it passes by their scenic club house situated on the shore of Larne Lough in the picturesque village of Glynn.

The club have organised a full range of activities to celebrate this world wide event with activities starting at their Glynn Playing Fields on Friday evening with the first night of their Viking Music Festival and activities roll straight through to Saturday with the Giro Caravan passing their extensive grounds at approximately 2:00pm with the Giro itself expected around 3:15pm.
