PRO12: Teams up for Ulster v Scarlets

The worst kept secret in Ulster is out with the good news announced yesterday that Stephen Ferris is to return to competitive rugby with a bench spot against Scarlets tonight at Ravenhill. Kick Off at 7:05pm.

The Ireland international hasn’t played since suffering an ankle injury in November 2012 and after 16 months of rehabilitation will make a phased return to play over the coming weeks.

Roger Wilson will make his 150th appearance for the Province in the game and starts at blindside flanker

The re-arranged match fits nicely into the season giving Ulster an additional match in their build up to the Quarter Final against Saracens on 5th April.

Head coach Mark Anscombe has used the additional fixture to review his resources for the  upcoming campaign with Stuart McCloskey getting his first start in the centre and Rory Scholes getting another run out on the wing.

Our player of the season to date, Robbie Diack is moved into second row to accommodate . . .
