Ravens: Ulster Revitalised by Ayr Reversal.

RavensAllen Clarke’s Ulster Ravens may not have the same cachet as Jonny Wilkinson’s Toulon but they showed a Galactico type turnaround in attitude and application to reverse last week’s defeat in Ayr, recording a six try 38 – 21 win.

The damage was done in the first half with the Ravens running in five tries as they took advantage of the conditions.

Peter Nelson opened the scoring crossing, after good work from Paul Jackson and Conor Joyce, to give the Ravens a 5 – 0 lead.

Joyce bagged one for himself shortly after, following a powerful run from Kyle McCall and James McKinney converted to give the Belfast side a 12 – 0 lead.

A bustling run from McCall was again instrumental in the Ravens third try with the ball spun wide . . .
