We’re delighted to offer another chance to bid for a signed Ulster Rugby Shirt at the start of what is potentially Ulster’s most successful season.
The shirt is being offered by Irish Women’s International Lauren Day in memory of her sister Corporal Channing Day who was tragically killed last October while on active service in Afghanistan.
The medic, from Comber, Northern Ireland, was shot dead while on patrol in Helmand Province.
The shirt auction will form one of the highlights of a Memorial Day at Comber Rec on Sunday 25th August. The fun filled day out, to remember a very special Lady, begins at 12:00 noon and the aim is to raise as much money as possible for Combat Stress ?
As Channing was a keen footballer the event will focus round a Ladies tournament but EVERYONE is WELCOME to come and support, eat grub or just have general banter!
- a 7aside women’s football tournament
- And last but not least the Bar will be open for all!!
The shirt will be auctioned during the event but if you cannot attend you can make an offer via this website. Send your bid to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will pass you details on to the Day family.
