The weekend dates for the RaboDirect PRO12 Season 2012/13 fixtures have now been announced, with the season kicking- off on the first weekend of September.
At this point in time the expectation would be for Ulster to go through the first part of the season unbeaten with Dragons and Connacht away and Glasgow and Treviso at home in September.
In fact there is a chance they will go into the Heineken Cup undercooked with Ospreys away in early October the only real challenge before the first series European fixtures.
Actually, I can see Ulster going through the league season unbeaten until their final three fixtures where they face Glasgow and Munster away with Leinster at home sandwiched in between. 🙂
All joking aside, it’s extraordinary that this is the sort of performance we are looking at if Ulster are to build on last season.
However, I did smile to myself earlier this month when I viewed the squad training pictures . . .
