APPEAL FOR RETURN OF NEVIN SPENCE MEMORIAL ULSTER FLAG

Regular Ulster travelling supporter Chris Simmons contacted the Front Row Union to request if we could publish the following. We’re happy to oblige and hope that the flag is returned soon!

My Nevin Spence Ulster flag was taken from Cell Nightclub in Castres on Saturday/Sunday morning 19/20 January at approx. 2am.

The owner of the club and his door-man told me it was taken by an Ulster supporter and the barman also thought this person was in my company. He or she wasn’t.

I went back to the club the next night to see if the flag had been returned. It hadn’t.

It was given to me as a present. It is a one of a kind and was specially customised in memory of Nevin Spence.

Whoever has taken it can’t use it in public as it is so easily identifiable. Please please please would you return it either to the Supporters Club C/O Ulster Rugby at Ravenhill or simple post it to Ravenhill office/admin staff. I am only interested in getting the flag back.

    Thanks everyone . The present giver says the flag didn’t cost an arm and a leg it was more the effort that went into sourcing it and having it printed.Read more …

    If this is not returned it will be awful but I’d propose a whip round off fans to fund replacement for Chris. I’ll pledge £20 to start as this needs to be replaced if not retd.
