The Heineken Cup pool draw for 2012-13 took place earlier today with Ulster being drawn in the same pool as Northmpton, Glasgow and Castres.
Not the worst of draws but still tricky enough with Northampton the team to beat out of that group.

The actual fixtures, i.e. who Ulster play on each particular weekend, should be sorted out by mid July though my guess is Glasgow away, Castes at home, Northampton back to back, Castres away and finishing with Glasgow at home is the likely breakdown that SKY wil lgo for.

Have Ulster not asked to have all their home games pre December as building starts then?
No idea Puff. While they may have some say in the PRO12 it’s unlikely they will have much of a say in the Heiny as it’s SKY coverage that dictates the fixtures.
Certainly looking forward to Castres away having missed the trip a couple of years ago – though there were some shocking pictures of some tired and emotional supporters on the TV that did make me laugh!
