Speculation is rife this morning that Brian McLaughlin will not be head coach at Ulster Rugby for the start of next season.

Kiwi’s Matt Sexton, John Kirwin and John Plumtree are all in the frame alongside a highly unlikely return for Mark McCall.

McLaughlin, who has a young family, may have been under pressure to spend more time at home, but it is likely that he will stay within the coaching set-up using his undoubted expertise within the Academy.

As it appears to be Ulster Rugby’s wont to release news of big signings any time an unpopular decision is made we also expect Tommy Bowe’s signing for next season to be announced today as well.

Confirmed in press release by Ulster Rugby
