Schools: Rugby Rankings Week 6

After a short break last week due to the sparse number of fixtures, the rankings return this week with almost the full compliment of teams having played last Wednesday and during the weekend:

RS Armagh (2nd) move into their highest position so far this season, sandwiched between the other two unbeaten teams of first-placed Methodist College and surprise package Limavady GS (3rd). This move comes after good similar-scoring away wins against Wallace HS (7th) and, in the previous week, Sullivan Upper (11th).

RBAI have had similar fortunes in their previous two fixtures, albeit with a home win in last week’s outing. Wins against Foyle & L’Derry College (10th) and RS Dungannon (13th) have pushed the Belfast team up three places into 5th position.

Elsewhere in the table, special mention goes to Carrickfergus GS (28th) who finally recorded their first win of the season with a resounding 32-0 score against fellow strugglers Friends’ SL (27th). While it has done nothing to change the position of either team it has closed . . .
