We’ve been asked about travel to away games quite a few times in the past so we’ve got together with local companies Courtesy Vehicle Solutions and Barrhead Travel to offer our readers, cost effective and hassle free travel to Ulster’s key away games this season.
Using the experience we’ve built up over years of travelling to away matches we’ve put together packages that should suit most peoples needs with a selection of top quality hotels either out by the grounds, if rugby is all it’s about or in the vibrant city centre if you’re after a touch of luxury.

This hotel is situated in Monza close to the ground and is recommended by Monza Rugby Club. Ideal if you want to get in and out with the minimum of fuss.
It’s a twenty minute taxi ride from Milan Linate to the hotel. Monza rugby club have produced a handy travel guide for the match which outlines how to get there and what to do. You can download the guide here.
Once you’ve arrived at your hotel you are just a short walk to the ground. See details in map below.
Luxury Package: Milan £280pp
Includes: Return flights + 2 nights at the Pierre Milano Hotel.
Situated slap bang in the middle of Milan this luxurious hotel is ideal if you want to mix your rugby trip with a touch of shopping, fine dining and fantastic night-life. I.e. you’ve had to take the wife/girlfriend with you. However after a few nights at this top hotel your better half will be begging you to make more rugby trips!
It’s a 20 minute taxi tide from the airport and taxi’s should cost 35 – 40 euro each way. It is advised to book in advance rather than use a airport taxi.
It’s about a 30 minute taxi ride to the Stadium which would cost 50 – 60 euro. However we advise going into Monza early to soak up the atmosphere (see Monza Guide here) and the hotel will be able to advise on public transport options.
