The Ulster Branch have released the following:
In the quarter-final replays of the Northern Bank Schools’ Cup played yesterday, RBAI defeated Royal School Armagh 19-13 and will progress to meet Coleraine Inst in the semi-final, while Methody and Campbell drew for a second time, 10-10.
Campbell and Methody will now face each other for a third time in a bid to determine which side shall progress to meet Ballyclare High School in the semi-final of the Northern Bank Schools’ Cup.
However, contrary to some reports, a date and venue for the replay is still to be confirmed.
With the semi-final stages of the competition originally scheduled to be played at Ravenhill next week, the Ulster Branch may be forced to make some changes to the dates with player welfare rules dictating that players must have adequate rest and recovery time between games.
