Between school entrance exams and the harsh weather this past weekend, very few matches took place a so there is little change to the table.

Ballymena Academy’s great win against Foyle & L’Derry midweek sees them rise to 4th, their highest position so far this season. The northwest College, on the other hand, have been going through a bad run of form as of late and this results means that they drop two places into 13th.

Bangor GS have recovered from their recent ‘blip’ against Dungannon with a win against Friends SL, moving them back up into 7th, while Larne GS have finally managed a second win at the expense of Carrickfergus GS, improving their standing by four places.

Local rivals, Banbridge Academy and Portadown College, played out a close encounter this week. The teams started in 18th and 16th place respectively and by the end of the day these positions remained held by the same two teams, albeit in a reversal of fortunes as Banbridge clinched a narrow victory.

How many places a team goes up depends as much on how the teams around them do as well as their own score. As only a few matches were played this week Larne went up more than normal with their win as none of the other teams round them were playing.
