Ulster have released the Ravens side for tomorrow’s match against Moseley.

The Ulster Ravens team to play Moseley in the British & Irish Cup match at Ravenhill tomorrow, Friday 17th December (KO 4pm), is as follows

(15-9) David McIlwaine, Tommy Seymour, Michael Allen, Luke Marshall, Chris Cochrane, Patrick Jackson, Ian Porter. (1-8) Conor Carey, Niall Annett, Gerry Cronin, Neil McComb, Ryan Caldwell, TJ Anderson (Captain), Ali Birch, Scott Lavella. (16-22) John Burns, Kyle McCall, Ian Henderson, David McGuigan, Blane McIlroy, James McKinney, Johnny Shiels.

The match kicks off at 4pm. Admission is free to all 10/11 Season Ticket Holders and children call also watch the match free of charge. Prices for adult admission are £15 for the stand and £12 for the terrace/prom.

Now, I don’t think that anyone has been pushing this Ravens side harder than me, but the week before Christmas I find the £12/£15 price tag a bit steep for the time of day and the expected weather conditions. I just hope that quite a few season ticket holders turn out to support this young team.

Back line looks tasty as always and it’ll be interesting to see how young McIlwaine slots in with the rest of the youngsters, hopefully we’ll get a chance to see some of his attacking potential. It must be remembered that despite losing to a strong and experienced Bedford side the Ravens still managed to score three tries last weekend and were unlucky not to be awarded a forth.

The pack will need to up their game from last week with McComb, Caldwell and Captain TJ Anderson needing to lead from the front with big performances.

Moseley have won only three of their 15 matches in The Championship this season but managed a four try away win against London Welsh in the last round of the British and Irish Cup so should not be underestimated.

Having said that, the young Ulster side should have enough fire-power to take this one.
