Dungannon all action wing forward Ali Birch starts for Ulster Ravens against Munster A at Nenagh Rugby Club in the A Inter Provincial League.
Birch is joined by Dungannon team mates Jason Bloomfield, Conor Gaston and Chris Cochrane who are all on the bench in what looks like a strong side to open the Raven’s campaign.
Recent Ulster first team players Adam D’Arcy, Tommy Seymour, Nevin Spence, Johnny Shiels, Mark McCrea, Adam Macklin and TJ Anderson all get a run out and will be looking to push for a place in Ulster’s highly competitive team this season.
Ireland’s Under 20 hooker Niall Annett will be making his first competitive appearance this season from the bench after leading the Under 20′s in the Junior World Cup in Argentina over the summer.
