Well it’s been one busy week for the Downey, the last working week before I jet off on Monday to the WRWC!!
Literally I’ve been in 5 different counties across the country Down, Galway, Dublin, Louth and Antrim with meetings etc…
Tuesday saw me in Galway for the Breast Cancer Awareness Calendar photo shoot organised by the Ladies Gaelic Football Association. It was a great experience and a welcomed change from trackies and a jersey!
Getting hair, make up and styled by professionals, my theme was 50′s Parisian Audrey Hepburn style, so my hair way pinned up with in an old 50′s style beehive, the dress was vintage couture, black cocktail frock and the make up was my fav, eye make up was dark and smoky, definitely picked up a few tips… Was a pleasure just to be apart of it all.
The rest of the week just saw me in meetings as well as fitting in a few sessions in the gym and pool in-between, so feeling pretty shattered now but really looking forward to getting away on Monday.
still haven’t packed yet and have a little shopping to do between now and then but the adventure is just around the corner and I can’t wait!!

Can’t believe the WRWC is upon us and we’re going to have a bit of peace for a whole 3 weeks!!
Only joking of course!! 
We’re very proud but will miss you lots! Enjoy every moment of it, keep safe, and keep the blog updated! I’m sure you wont be short of material!!

Good Luck Eliza, great excuse for us oldies to get a wee trip to Surrey, looking forward to Tue…………just sorting the Paper Work boarding passes, adddress, route plans etc etc etc boring HOW COME I GOT THIS JOB……..ah well Jen and Sars soooooooooooooooo busy
