I received an email about a couple of weeks before Christmas from a young man requesting a selection of the Ulster 99 FRU tee-shirts for an upcoming ski-trip.
“No worries”, I replied, “I’ll drop them up Thursday if we can arrange somewhere to meet up.”
“Well I’m getting married Thursday so any where near City Hall would be handy!” was the response.
Now, while I admired the dedication of the young man to get his hands on some of the delectable FRU tees I chose not to interrupt his big day and we arranged to meet up a couple of days earlier and completed our transaction.
After wishing him all the best for his big day I requested a couple of pics of the “boys” in their tee shirts and true to his word the pictures have arrived.
So congratulations to Mr and Mrs McKnight on their big day and thanks for the pictures from the trip/honeymoon! (I particularly enjoy the one of the scrum!)
