Never mind that the game was played a day later and in a different country, Ulster stalwarts, the Boy’s on Tour were so pleased with getting to Belgium before the Ulster match kicked off that they sent in some photos of their big Belgian blowout.
In fact Brussels hasn’t seen so many comic book characters since the hey day of Tin Tin, Cap’n Haddock and the Thompson twins. In fact I think Hercule Poirot even made the odd appearance to celebrate their safe arrival.
The Boys spent their first morning in Brussels at a church praying for divine intervention so that the game would go ahead as planned, but as you can see from the attached photos they soon reverted to type visiting some of Brussels seedier dives, ending up the following morning outside the Grand Place in Brussels.
